Pulse Counter (Single/Dual) Meter

Single Input

Monnit's ALTA® Wireless Pulse Counters gather intelligence from your operations by remotely monitoring an item's usage frequency or actuations. Data can help improve service or protect productivity.

Why a pulse counter?

Imagine what you could save by knowing what's occurring with water, gas, and airflow meters. Consider how you might optimize staffing by understanding foot traffic thanks to turnstile or door actuations or how often someone sits in your forklift.

You decide when the sensor tracks actuations or usage, such as during a production shift. If the counter detects a deviation from your pre-set limits in iMonnit Software, an alert is issued via text, email, or call.

How do electronic pulse counters work?

Within 15 minutes, this turnkey pulse counter integrates with a contact or mechanical switch. Monnit's battery-powered electronic counter then tracks how often a pulse is detected within a specified time when contact occurs between the two wired endpoints.

Monnit's Pulse Counters are available in a compact Commercial coin cell battery model, an Enterprise-ready AA unit, and an Industrial-grade pulse counter. Discover the right wireless pulse counters below for your operations.

Dual Input

Set up an ALTA Wireless Dual Pulse Counter to track two output devices simultaneously to count contacts, pulses, or actuations. Meters monitoring water, air, power, or gas and door access are ideal applications for the Dual Pulse Counter to track. However, there are many standard industrial and commercial systems that you can connect to the counter.

Double Up on Counting Up

Think of two devices, equipment, contacts, buttons, or switches that operate in tandem or are close together. Our ALTA Dual Pulse Counter can help you count their pulses in a given time frame or aggregate pulses in an ongoing accumulation. The counter can count pulses' positive and negative edges, so accuracy isn't an issue. In addition, there are more low-pass filter settings options with this counter:

  1. None—Ultra-fast counting up to 1600 Hz

  2. Weak—Fast counting up to 80 Hz

  3. Medium—Normal counting up to 20 Hz

  4. Strong—Slow counting up to 4 Hz

Know when critical assets are in use, meters are running, how many people are entering an area or room, or how many items are in production. Fit the Enterprise and Industrial ALTA Wireless Dual Pulse Counters below into your operations.
